Tune in to the IP Chat Channel on Wednesday, April 8 at 2p.m. ET for a timely—and free—discussion about Managing IP in Times of Crisis. For those in our community running a corporate IP department or managing an IP practice, effective leadership is more important than ever during a crisis. How can  you continue supporting clients’ innovation when significant numbers of employees are teleworking and many are without childcare? How do strategies change in response to the disruption of regular research and development and effects on the supply chain? How can IP professionals continue to assist companies in extracting maximum value from their portfolios and continue to create new products and services? Are some industries at a comparative advantage or disadvantage?

Panelists Karen Cochran(Shell) and Henry Hadad (BMS) are chief IP counsels at multinational corporations and members of the IPO Board of Directors. Mike Ray (Sterne Kessler) is his firm’s managing partner, and Todd Walters (Buchanan Ingersoll) runs his firm’s patent office litigation practice. Drawing on their extensive experience as leaders in the field, they will discuss their perspectives on capable leadership during fraught times.
